    Description
    Prerequisite: PSYC C1000 | Lecture: 3 hours This course examines the etiology, assessment, classification, diagnosis, and treatment of abnormal behavior and major psychological disorders. This course will provide an introduc- tion to the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and explore anxiety, mood, schizophrenia, eating, childhood and adolescence, sex- ual functioning, substance use and addiction, neurocognitive, stress and trauma, and personality disorders. Historical, social, cultural, legal and ethical contexts of psychopathology are also included.
