    (UC:CSU:C-ID PHIL 140) 3 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours An introduction and survey of modern European Philosophy, beginning with the inception of Modern Science with Copernicus and Galileo, the inception of modern philosophy proper with Rene Descartes, through the Rationalists and Empiricists, German Idealism, Positivism, Marxism, Linguistic and Analytic Philosophy, Phenomenology, Philosophy of Science, Existentialism, Feminism, Deconstruction, and other recent trends.
