- Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours Introduces formal and informal methods for evaluating argu- ments. Students will learn to classify arguments as inductive or deductive, determine whether deductive arguments are valid or invalid, and identify strong and weak inductive argu- ments. Applications of critical thinking to social and political discourses will be considered.
