- Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours This course for parents/guardians focuses on the healthy devel- opment of children from birth through adolescence. Emphasis is on building healthy relationships with children in the areas of bonding, attachment, self-esteem, family dynamics, age-appro- priate expectations and the importance of positive communica- tion. This course can also fulfill court-mandated parent education hours.
