    3 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 2 hours | Lab: 2 hours Students will develop the knowledge and understanding to pre- pare for an NCCA Personal Trainer Certification Exam and become an effective and employable personal trainer. This is a comprehensive course for designing individualized programs based on each client's unique health, fitness, and goals. The information covered by this course will help the student learn how to facilitate rapport, adherence, self-efficacy and behavior change in clients, as well as design programs that help clients to improve posture, movement, flexibility, balance, core function, cardiorespiratory fitness, and muscular endurance and strength.
