    3 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours A general interest survey and evaluation of the mass media in economic, historical, political, psychological and social terms. Focus is to help the media consumer better understand today's mass communications; newspapers, radio, television, motion pictures, magazines, the internet, advertising and public relations. Course content discusses relationships, eth- ics, rights and responsibilities of media in today's society.
