Students learn about interior products for durability, health, environmental, sustainability, and American Disability Act considerations. INTRDGN115BUILDINGCODESFORINTERIORS�(CSU)3UNITS Prerequisite: None | Advisory: INTRDGN 102 | Lecture: 3 hours This course covers the latest codes and standards pertinent to interior designers and architects with emphasis on how resi- dential and commercial building designs and finishes are affected by various building, accessibility, and green codes. Topics include the most recent International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), International Green Construction Code (IGCC), the CALGreen Code (Title 24 � Part 11), the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), and relevant Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) codes.
