Classification systems studied include Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine (SNOMED), Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC), Healthcare Common Procedural Coding System (HCPCS Level II) used for reimbursement of outpa- tient services rendered.
