    Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours This course examines the composition, structure, and pro- cesses of the planet Earth. Topics include minerals & rocks, plate tectonics, forces & processes that create volcanoes & earthquakes, determination of the ages of rocks, processes of running and groundwater, renewable and non-renewable resources, and the environmental impacts of energy and min- eral resource exploitation and use.
