- Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours This course provides fundamental information regarding the history and philosophy of fire prevention and organization. This course includes information on the operation of a fire prevention bureau, fires codes, identification and correction of fire hazards, relationship of fire prevention with fire safety education, and detection and suppression systems.
