Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionPrerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours This course is for ESL students at the beginning level who wish to improve their listening comprehension of English and to increase their ability to make themselves understood, using conversational American English speech. Students will be introduced to vocabulary and life skills needed to function in daily life and work situations. Activities ranging from dia- logues, pair and group work, and role plays will be used to develop fluency and help students achieve the language skills needed to succeed in academic and career settings.
