    Prerequisite: ENGL C1000 or ENGLISH 101X or 101Y or 101Z or E.S.L. 110 | Advisory: ENGLISH 102 | Lecture: 3 hours Students examine major literary works from ancient times to the present that make women their central character or focus. Students also examine women's changing status and sense of identity as reflected in essays, fiction, poetry, and drama.
