    Description
    LAB � (UC:CSU) 3 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours | Lab: 1 hour English 101X is a course where students will use critical reading and thinking strategies to write primarily expository and argu- mentative texts that respond to a variety of rhetorical situations and contexts and incorporate college-level research. Requires a minimum of 5,000 words of formal writing. Course content is identical to ENGL C1000 (formerly English 101) with one addi- tional lab support hour for students whose MMAP placement suggests such support is needed.
