- (UC:CSU) 3 UNITS Prerequisite: EGD TEK 101 | Lecture: 2 hours | Lab: 2 hours This is an introductory course in Three-Dimensional Computer-Aided Design and solid modeling. Students learn the concept of creating parts by using features including extrusion, revolve, sweep and loft boss, base, and cut. Other topics covered include creating assemblies and making draw- ing files out of the solid model or the assembly, utilizing SolidWorks 3-D software.
