    (UC:CSU: C-ID COMM 140) 3 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours Students analyze communication theories, principles, models, and characteristics in a variety of group contexts. Students will explore the nature of power as it relates to effective prob- lem-solving, decision-making, and conflict management. Emphasis is placed on collaborative learning and enhancing small group communication competencies, including the development of leadership skills and responsible group participation.
