    Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours Course covers the entire span of Mexican history. It includes a consideration of the pre-conquest period, Spanish invasion and colonization, the War of Independence, the turmoil of the nineteenth century, the period of Diaz, the 1910 Revolution, the post-Revolution period, and a view of trends in contempo- rary Mexico.
