    PARTICIPATION � 3 UNITS Prerequisite: BUS 009 | Lecture: 3 hours Provides practical experience to students in the fundamentals of Federal and California income tax procedures by providing students with the opportunity to prepare basic tax returns for qualified individuals in the community. This class is associ- ated with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA) which allows students to assist in the preparation of actual tax returns for residents in the community.
