    Prerequisite: None | Advisory: CASAS Level A (150�200) Test of Basic Adult Education (TABE) scoring below 2.2 on locator test Lecture: 3 hours This is a developmental course in reading and mathematics skills. Students will be introduced to essential reading skills including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary development, and comprehension skills. Students will also be introduced to basic arithmetic computational and prob- lem-solving skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers.
