    (CSU) 2 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Advisories: BIOTECH 002 and BIOTECH 003 Lecture: 2 hours Introduces quality control and validation in the field of bio- technology. An overview of good manufacturing practices is given incorporating the importance of quality control and assurance in the manufacturing of biotechnology products focusing on validation assays, system evaluations and process testing and reporting.
