    Prerequisite: BIOTECH 002 | Lecture: 2 hours | Lab: 6 hours This course expands concepts and techniques introduced in Biotechnology I. Students are introduced to modern molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid isolation, recombi- nant DNA techniques, cell transformation, recombinant DNA analysis, nucleic acid hybridization, and DNA sequence analy- sis. Students explore the production and purification of pro- teins using biochemical techniques such as immunochemistry and chromatography.
