Students exam- ine the fundamentals of cellular and molecular biology and are introduced to basic biotechnology laboratory skills, including documentation, safety, solution and buffer prepara- tion, quality control and bioethics. Students develop profi- ciency in aseptic technique, spectrophotometry, microscopy and centrifugation.
