    3 UNITS Prerequisite: None | Lecture: 3 hours Provides an introduction to the history and sociology of a gang. Topics include the organization and structure of a street gang, recruitment into a gang, gang attire, hand signs, tattoos, body language, graffiti, and their effect on society. The organi- zational structure of a prison gang and the relationship with organized crime are also covered.
