Students will learn about the common errors of human cognition that hinder critical thinking, the common fallacies of reasoning, recognizing opinion versus facts, and analyzing arguments. The focus of this course is on applying critical thinking skills to study contemporary issues related to human behavior and writing effective logical arguments.
