Topics to be covered include social cognition in adulthood, gender role and personality development across the lifespan, adaptive coping, intimacy, and sexual aspects of the ongoing aging process. Critical life issues for elders and for those who live and work with them are explored. These issues include physical health, mental health, health care policy, caregiving, dependency and positive aging strategies.
