    Description
    Philosophy 020 is a study of the basic principles of moral evaluation and issues of ethical theory, and their application to contemporary moral problems. The primary emphasis in the course is in aiding students in developing critical abilities in moral evaluation. The scope of this introductory ethics course will include metaethics, normative ethics, social ethics, applied ethics, and personal ethics. Specific theories introduced will include Virtue Ethics, Consequentialism, and Deontology.
