Students edit reporter work for grammar, punctuation, clarity and Associated Press Style. Student editors craft headlines and cutlines, and also practice editing skills across other platforms, including broadcast and the web. Editors learn front page design software, and focus on copy flow and newsroom organization. Published work is critiqued in regularly scheduled class meetings.
