- Description
- The relationship between diet and health is emphasized. Scientific concepts of nutrition related to the function of nutrients in basic life processes. Current health issues including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, weight management, and sports nutrition are investigated. Individual nutritional status and body fat composition are assessed by computer analysis.
