    Description
    Students will study works by selected poets and their background for an appreciation of the poetic form, including early verses from classic verse to contemporary pieces. This course is a study of selected American, British, and continental poems. This course is designed to increase the student's understanding and appreciation of poetic forms and their historical development. Critical reading and writing are stressed.
