    Description
    This course is an introduction to the principles of economic analysis and economic policy. Emphasis is placed on the macro or national approach, with special attention given to aggregate economics, money, banking and national income. The course explores the problems of unemployment, inflation, and governmental policies related to these problems. Note: ECON 1 is not a prerequisite for this course. Students who plan on taking both are advised to take ECON 2 first.
