Transfers ToCSUDescriptionStudents design and evaluate developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments for young children from birth to age 8. Based on the value of play, students demonstrate the teacher's role in applying theory to practice in supporting children's concept development. Preparing and assessing the implementation of curriculum will include but not be limited to language and literacy, social studies, music, and rhythm, physical and motor mastery, and mathematics. This class will have a strong emphasis on art and creativity, understanding the importance of the environment, and the role of the teacher.
