Transfers ToCSUDescriptionProvides students the opportunity to work as an intern in an academic or industrial biotechnology environment. Students will apply skills and techniques learned in prerequisite courses toward an individual project determined by the director of the facility in which the internship will be done. Students will also attend lectures addressing the use of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint in preparing written and oral scientific presentations. At the end of the internship students will present their internship accomplishments in the forms of a scientific paper, poster, and oral presentation.
