Transfers ToCSUDescriptionArt 521 covers the basics of art gallery management including but not limited to, curatorial strategies, exhibition design, proper handling of artworks and their installation, gallery preparation and maintenance, gallery lighting, production and distribution of press releases, announcements, exhibitions lists, and related gallery literature. Students learn by working side-by-side with art professionals during preparation and installation. This course may be scheduled at times to be arranged (TBA) for a minimum of 72:00 hours.
