This course describes basic computer concepts as well as more complex skills and software programs, with coverage and assignments for Word, Excel, fillable PDFs, Relativity,discovery planning, and pre-trial planning. This course covers important topics such as electronic discovery, Internet legal/factual research, legal timekeeping and billing, and litigation support. A variety of other topics are covered including ethics in mobile computing, document management, security, the electronic courthouse, and many other trends in legal computing.
