    Description
    This course provides an overview of community and public health disciplines. Topics include basic public health concepts, various professions and organizations, disease prevention and control, social determinants of health analysis, strategies for health disparity reduction, community organizing, school health promotion, environmental health, and the US healthcare system overview. Emphasis is on developing knowledge and skills for effective advocacy in community and public health.
