- Students learn technology of computer hardware such as microprocessor, RAM, UEFI/BIOS/CMOS, motherboard, power supply, HDD, optical drive, video, sound, and I/O devices; how these form a working system; basics of networking; simple troubleshooting of PC systems; and features and troubleshooting of portable computers and mobile devices. This course is one of two courses on the computer systems and technologies to prepare students for CompTIA A+ certification exams.
