It introduces students to the four skills necessary for language acquisition: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is not recommended for native speakers of Spanish or for students who have completed one year of high school Spanish with a grade of B or better. Students will learn the sound system and basic grammatical structures. This course exposes students to everyday situations and cultural topics of the Hispanic world.
