Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis is a credit by examination course to satisfy the requirement for a course in the principles of California state and local government as required by Title 5 of the California Administrative Code (and as part of the CSU's graduation requirement in American Institutions). The course will provide a survey of the forces shaping the governmental institutions and processes of the State of California and its cities, counties and special districts. Students will prepare for the examination by guiding themselves through course content based on required learning outcomes, objectives, and materials. This course is available during both the Fall and Spring Semesters.
