It continues to develop reading and writing skills of native Khmer speakers and increases oral proficiency. Students explore Khmer history and culture in Pre-Angkorian, Angkorian, and Post-Angkorian periods. This course also includes extensive analysis of the Khmer writing system, conventions in spelling, and key vocabulary.
