Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course concentrates on plant propagation and production practices for the spring season. Emphasis is on nursery operations including sexual and asexual reproduction, planting, transplanting, fertilizing, and plant pest and disease control. Instruction includes an overview of structures and site layout; preparation and use of propagating and planting mediums; use and maintenance of common tools and equipment, and regulations pertaining to plant production based on industry standards and trends. This course also includes field trips.
