    Description
    This course provides students with an understanding of the U.S. health care systems and health insurance options to provide for efficient navigation through the healthcare system. The course will examine healthcare delivery systems and personal health as integrated physiological, social, psychological processes. Topics include the history and types of health insurance in the U.S.; the roles of the U.S. healthcare workforce; contemporary healthcare issues; different types of care; public assistance programs and disability programs; and ethical and bioethical issues.
