Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis course provides an introduction to the fundamental technical and aesthetic principles of motion picture digital photography. Students are instructed in practical training in the use of motion picture cameras, with an introduction to image control through exposure, lighting, and selection of camera, lenses, and filters. The course also offers an examination of the cinematographer as a visual storyteller to develop a broader understanding of the balance between artist and technician as well as an examination of the different crew positions and processes of the camera crew.
