Transfers ToNot transferableDescriptionThis course describes the basic applications of power distribution transformers, consisting of two or more coupled windings, in single and three-phase systems and defines transformer winding configurations for step-up or step-down operation and the various ancillary components incorporated to monitor and cool windings. Students will learn the various electrical tests used to analyze transformer windings, and identify the transformer’s ability to operate within the energized electrical system. InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) standards are adhered to in this course.Usually HeldTue 6:45pm–9:55pm
