    Description
    This is an introductory course designed to assist students in understanding personal qualities in relationship to life and career skills required to succeed in the post-COVID workplace. The goal is for students to recognize the required essential skills for finding employment in today's world. Course topics include personal assessments of strengths and weaknesses, recognizing strengths, the importance of self-advocacy, developing job search skills, online and in-person interviewing techniques, and developing a career or employment search portfolio. Students will also learn the importance of culturally inclusive practices in the workplace.
