Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThe course emphasizes bonding, structure, and reactions of organic compounds. Modern spectroscopic and analytical techniques are covered, and an emphasis is placed on reaction mechanisms and synthesis. The laboratory part of the course stresses techniques involved in the synthesis of organic compounds.
