Key artists, movements, and themes will be examined in painting, sculpture, and architecture. The development of art forms will be considered in relation to historical events and the cultural, religious, social, and political trends of the time period. ART 1 is NOT a prerequisite. This course is appropriate for art majors and non-majors.
