It stresses the creative interpretation of subjects, situations, and themes within the context of commercial art such as advertising, editorial, and institutional. Special emphasis is placed on the creation of illustrations from rough concept through finished artwork. Production, media processes, color analysis and application, portfolio development and presentation are presented.
