Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis laboratory course includes both on and off campus labs that provide an opportunity to practice and apply the theory content in simulated and live nursing situations. The primary emphasis is placed on the application of theory and integrating communication skills into interactions with patients in both the psychiatric and medical-surgical acute care settings. Skill activities include intravenous venipuncture, group participation and various communication techniques.
