    Description
    This course focuses on health and illness concepts for care of individuals with common acute or chronic conditions. Emphasis is placed on concepts including homeostasis and regulation, protection and movement, oxygenation and hemostasis. Professional nursing concepts include professional attributes and care competencies. Curricular concepts are applied in seminar, lab and clinical settings. Upon completion, students will provide safe nursing care incorporating the identified concepts.
