Transfers ToCSUDescriptionThis laboratory course includes both on-campus laboratory practice and application of course content in the live nursing situation. Skills include intravenous therapy, medical and surgical aseptic practices and selected physical assessments. Students will provide nursing care for a two patient perioperative assignment in the acute care setting. Experiences off the unit may include a day in the operating room or outpatient services.
