Implementation of skill development and error analysis are emphasized in exposing both intra- and extra- oral diagnostic quality radiograph images. Clinical competency in patient care is required throughout the course to qualify for Dental Board of California requirements for Radiation Safety Certification upon graduation. Students must be accepted into the Lassen Community College Dental Assistant Program OR current dental office/clinic preceptee with proof of preceptorship in dental assisting. 75% or higher is required on all Final Exams as well as course grade. Approved uniform is required.
